GunCon 2 gun with PS2

I just brought a "Zero Force Laser Gun" that is compatible with PS1 and PS2.

I had a game "Silent Scope 2" and "Time crisis 2" as well.

When i start my SS2 game, it cannot detect the movement of the gun pointing, but the buttons works ok.

As for time crisis 2, it cannot detect the shooting on the left bottom of my TV.

My TV is "Sony Trinition Fat TV". Is there compatible problems with my PS2 or my TV or just the game.

Its just probably your light gun being not calibrated properly. I have the same lightgun but i only have time crisis 3. And at the beginning of each play there will be a calibration test. What you'll need to do is adjust the laser to line up to the center of the target and then shoot it. You dont even need the laser, just shoot the center of the target and its calibrated. If it doesnt have a calibration test when it starts, check the option and it should be there.

Im not sure about this but i dont think lightgun will work Silent Scope 2. I looked at gamefaqs to see the list of light gun games and SS2 is not listed. And also looking at the boxart of SS2 it doesnt say its compatible with guncon or any lightgun at all.
