write i wa following the guide on this site on how to convert avi to dvd i converted it from avi to mpg but now i dont no how to convert it to vob some 1 please help and do i use the same program as what i did to change it from avi to mpg

I use DVDLab to convert my mpeg 2 VOB works great.Just follow the QUICK TUTORIAL in the help section.a lot of drag & drop.Great Tool!!!!I've even put 2 movies on one disk,when I was'nt sure if it was a keeper. even used DVD2One to re-shrikk if i went over a bit with dvdlab to fit disk Useing TMPGEnc to convert all my movies 2 mpeg 50%,75% CQ CBR

You need to use TMPGEnc DVD Author to take you from mpg to .vob's :-)
