HOW DO I SOLDER IT!! Sorry. I am trying to install the mod whip I bought from wii-bee.com. Do I have to put solder on the board before I put the wire on? I can't get the wire to solder to the board.

Hey, have you soldered before? Are you using flux? Metal won't stick without it. You may want to do a websearch about soldering basics to look at some pictures to get some help. It's usually something you sorta have to practice. Put your flux down and be sure to tin your iron. Add a small amount of solder to your iron and then heat the board after a second or two let the solder flow over the pad. Dip the end of your wire in the flux also before soldering it. But yeah check out some tutorials for more in depth instructions. Use a standard rosin-core solder 60/40 and a low watt iron. And go with a lead free flux. Good luck!

if youve never soldered before just dont.

i stuffed my old wii installing a chip and i have been soldering for some time.

you can get someone to insitall it for you for a price but its definately cheaper than a new console.
