Verbatims all around!
I was considering the Best Buy deal but now with Officemax, I may have to go there. It sucks for me though since Officemax is out of the way for me. Best Buy is about 5 minutes from me (and like 30 seconds from my train when I'm working).
Newegg's deal is best, but I hate waiting for mail-in rebates.
EDIT Doing the math, the Best Buy deal is better for me. Here in NYC, 2 50 pack spindles will be $28.15 total. Officemax's deal would be $32.50. Plus it's much further out of the way for me, so combine that with the cost of gas, we're going with Best Buy. I know nobody cares lol

Mr_Pink- FWIW Officemax Does Pricematch From ehat I understand and if your going to buy $50.00 worth of Merchandise ( Media or whatever ) I'm Pretty sure that they Have free shipping !!!! on your Order . So depending on the quantity you plan on buying You might get a better deal through them if your factoring in Travel-time /Gas ect... I've only ordered from them online once But I recieved my order with no Shipping damage, They sent the correct Item and it was shipped free So in my case it was a win win all around ! I had to order online because we don't have any nearby Officemax here ! Just a thought Mr_Pink!!!

I don't want to spend an extra $20 or so just to qualify for free shipping though. Plus, like I said, BB is much closer to me (from home and work) than Office Max (none in Manhattan). And, as of right now, when I get outta work, I'll be about 30 seconds from BB. They better have spindles in stock!

BT69 I hear ya.... but I've had some pretty good luck with the CMC MAG AM3's. ;) Go here and see what you think compared to the MCC 03RG20. :D
I've tried some of the CMC MAG M01's too. (tdk branded - don't tell creaky.... hehehe) They do ok but NO where as well as the DVD-R 16x media CMC has. Of course my opinion and my limited experience. I'm not gonna stock up on them or use them exclusively but they seem to produce some good burns and AFAIK they should last about the same amount of time... Of course I don't know but I'm sure someone does. ;D

For what it's worth, my local Best Buy had plenty of Verbs in stock AND they were the old Verbs (old design cake box). The only new ones they had were the 100 pk spindle.

Quote: Some of you may use these. ;)
Ativa (Office Depot) DVD+R 50 pack $9.99
Ativa (Office Depot) DVD-R 50 pack $9.99 I bought some of these for testing purposes and they're CMC MAG AM3 coded. ;) They do ok but nothing like Verbs to me. NOT bad give-aways tho....
And some may choose to play Russian Roullette with a single shot derringer. Sorry, I'd rather try to burn the clear plastic prorective disk on the bottom than a CMC-MAG disk.
Bring on the Verbs guys.

Now that's just mean spirited. :P lol.... For $9.99 (50 pack) and the possibility of having some "decent" give-aways you really can't go wrong. :P You should try the DVD-R version just for giggles blivetNC. ;D
Sorry to pull the thread "semi" OFF TOPIC.... ;)

Really, Green has the right attitude. CMC Mags are not bad these days, very comparable to verbs, actually, ALMOST identical to verbs. A simple CMC error check of entire disc reveals 0 for CMC and 0 for Verbs.
But of course when verbs on hot sale like this: it's human nature to go for Verb brand.
