unless things i have changed i dont think so, you would need a certain sata chipset and you would have to have access to the sata slot on your computers motherboard and i dont think you could do that. but they used to make a usb to sata thing that you could use but idk if thats out of the question now or not, since i havent been around for about a year.

its possible if the sata port is external. but even then you would need a chipset that is compatible with iprep, unless you have a hitachi drive, in which case i believe there is still a usb to sata device made by one of the modding companies that will prolly work for you. unfortunatly i dont have any further details, but you might try looking for tutorials on how to flash your 360 with a notebook computer.

the sata port of my laptop is accessible even though it is internal. as you may have known, hard disks, ram, and battery bays of notebook computers are easily available. when you remove the hard disk of the laptop in the hard disk bay,you can always see the sata port. and my sata controller is ich7-m family, so i believe it is compatible with the toshiba samsung drive, correct?

well if you have a samsung and want to test and see if the port will work, simply open up iprep and select the port and see if it says mtkflash and dos compatible. if it does, as the best way to flash is with iprep, then you should be able to use the port to do it. fair warning though. if its the hard disk you plan on removing to do it, there have been issues with iprep and the firmtool working in dos. most of the time i find i have to go back into windows and use firmtool to vreate the hacked firmware there. if this ends up being the case, you will have to put the hard disk back in, then take it back out to flash it. not too much work, but it may happen.

that means you can use it with dosflash. its just another way of flashing it. there are, or atleast were, tutorials here on how to use dosflash to do it. just look it up.
