hi guys few days back i tried the universal remote v 1.2 for psp and successfully i was able to install it on my psp(3.90m33-3).bt wt when i was done with all the settings like i mean the tv(sony) and the controller text (RM-Y180) and after that when i press X on the power button the psp gets an error like the following.and also i have to load the homebrew using eloader.

this might sound like a stupid question but are you using a psp slim or a psp phat?

well in that case there is a simple reason. the slim psp does not have an Infra Red (IR) device like the psp phat which makes programs like universal remote worthless on the slim.

so that means i cant use it right..and what about the irshell ir remotes?

yep you cant use universal remote or ir shell remotes as they both use the ir port.
