I had same problem with The Box Super.
Opened the back of it ... there is a white plastic connector which comes from the switch at the back of the box .... it had come loose.
Just a matter of plugging back into circuit board.
Hope that works.

my problem is not that my is something else what i need is someone that fixes them or a dead box for parts so i can do the job my slef its a clone box i have and im sure i know what wrong with it

Hi Folks,
Sorry to re-hash the same old problem but I have two genuine Box Supers (25 x 7 slots) and they have suddenly got no power at all. They have worked fine for last 8 months and then just stopped.
I've had both open and looked to see if anything loose but Nada.
Greatly appreciated if anyone out there has a solution to this.
I'm in Bray by the way.

Strange that both have same problem.
1. Check there is power in the socket.
2. check fuse in plug is OK
3. Check the link from the on/off switch at the back of the box to the circuit boards. there is a white plastic connection that could be loose. This happened my box and some others on afterdawn.

Hi Joe90,
It is a strange one. I've bought about 10 Boxes over the last 2 years for friends, relatives etc.
Also strange that the two boxes were bought from different places so who knows why?????
To answer your point, I have checked all leads, sockets, cables, switches etc and even got an Electrician to look at them for me and he was mystified too.
Is there anything else you know of or do I just bin them?

Hi guys, i've got a Starview 1 genuine. I'm updating with CryptStar-v1.5-Core400. The upload seems to work showing 100% complete and re-boots. Channel scan on Ex C&W only pick up about 20 channels. System info still says API Ver 4.00e_E Boot Ver 7.0 7.Jun.2007. Should the system info change to a later version after updating, maybe this means the upload failed. I have now manually input the latest codes but still not working. Any advice.

System Info does not change, will still show that version and date, it is the version that was moddified to AU so that is okay. Have you tried a Factory Reset and fresh Installation, and are you sure that you are on your correct provider, what VM area are you in.

malici or any of the lads i need help.to put it simple the box has just this min stopped working. says no signal. was working fine then just stopped i didnt do anything i sware. emu is on,wont pick up anything with a scan please help

Make sure that your LIVE cable feed is plugged into the Cable Input socket at the back, it just may have come out. No signal means exactly that okay, so no need to worry, it has come out or there is a fault in the area. What is your area, please state it and I can check your supplier.

hi all can any1 help me got a boxsuper usb any idear how i burn the films or tv programs i record on to dvd so i can watch them on a dvd they are recorded on two usb stick in ts format but i try and burn it and nero will not have it can any1 help please cheers

Hi can anyone tell me why the clone star v*** 1 can not find sly sports 1 while all the other channels are working, when you do automatic rescan or manual scan it does find it thanks.

Don't understand your question, why it can not find it? when you do automatic or manual it does?
