ive had my hitachi drive flashed for the past few months,so stopped using live,so what will happen if i log on to xbox live,silver, and download bad company demo.
If your firmware is up to date you shouldnt have anything to worry about. i do it all the time. if you really want to download stuff, but you dont want to go on xbox live with a flashed box, just buy a broken one or get one from a friend who doesnt know how to fix it, and get it fixed. even if you cant fix it cuz its RROD, there are several places that will for around 50 bucks. so you basically are paying 50 bucks for an xbox 360. then just leave that one unflashed for xbox live. i have 4 xbox's. 3 flashed, 1 not. i payed retail price for one, paid 30 bucks for 1, and got the other two for free cuz those three were all RROD. sent the first one in to get fixed, so i basically paid 80 bucks for it, and the other two i fixed myself.
