Hey everyone
Just lost some of my channels for a few days (E4, channel 4 etc) but got them all back thanks to you lot. Thanks a million.
One quick question - I currently don't pick up LFC TV with the automatic scan. Can I find it with a manual scan WITHOUT loosing my existing channels?

unc2 .. Double check your ch@nnel listing , if you on N*L Ireland do a manual scan on 418.250 (Liverpool TV) and check the end of your list after scanning

tyr 4.19 these are frequencies peter not codes,wouldnt mention codes to much creaky might come after you lol!

Karl frequencies differ in the SouthEast as they use different transponders, however the factory reset and rescan should have picked them up. I know they are working in that area.

i was thinking that sc0ucer but when he said he picked up the rest i tought maybe the frequencies where the same,we need to get peter back his lfc pronto though lol

LOL heading for a while so cant help there :) But as said the factory reset should have picked it up, and as you said best bet scanning from his direct feed. But if there is work ongoing that may be the problem. Or a weak signal not picking up the TP, (booster maybe).
The OP refers to V4.00 without stating if it is CryptStar or the original non patched V4.00, just like to see if there are any differences. I know system info will remain the same.
I know they changed TPs down there, (probably Waterford by the looks of it), but I dont have an updated channel list yet.
Catch you later though not having LFC TV isnt the end of the world......... no wait it is :)

well i go onto manual search type in the down freq synbol rate 6887,constellation 64,network scan enable just wonderin was that right comes on screen then o channels ? could u ALSO tell me if i buy a box from a site on here would i have to flash it or what

Peter I have to leave but a manual scan on a frequency that is not in your area will result in no channels found. I would follow the advice already given.
Regards buying boxes yes you have to flash them yourself.

hi, hoping someone can help me. I just got a starview"the box" (from my brother who never used it) It seems to be freezing and then turning itself off and back on again and repeating. I have now turned it off completly and am hoping you can advise mw how to stop this from happening. Thanks!

Before I go there are a multitute of these threads "The Starview 3 or the Box Super is rebooting" , have a look. There is new firmware coming out in the next few days to hopefully resolve this problem.

You need two scarts to record from the Starview. One from the box to the DVD recorder and one from the recorder to the tv. The Starview has to be on the channel you are recording. As far as I know, that's the only way to do it. Hope this helps....(",)**

If you`re n*l Dublin, do a manual scan on this freq - 347.500 Khz

new batteries maybe? ha
only buzzin me head was wrecked with the same problem spilt beer on mine and it stopped workin until it dried out, happened twice to me. These remotes seem very vunrable to liquids but if they dry they work, anyways... as far as i know a new remote means a new box too :(

If your in Dublin on n*l , do a manual scan on 347.500 khz for C4, s*y one & two etc.

Hey guys I have made a channel dump file for Starview: The Box. I have made it available over on my blog HERE. This will let you have your channels back in a nice order again. I have also made a printable PDF file with all the stations listed out by groups.
