All the basic chanells should still be there, i think the best idea wud be to do a powerscan, my nannys sumtimes 3ur0v0x goes like that and a powerscan usually does the job

no matter how many times you scan your box you will be unable to get them channels back they will scan in and you will get a full green signal bar on the bottom but you will not be able to view them as they have moved to the new encryption and the rest now is only a matter of time now prob weeks or days away now i would say im surprised it is after taking this long to get there

even when they do change them up fully you will still get channels without the box just plug the cable direct into the tv and you will have your basic channels without any box

Alright mate....What's "the new encryption" then as opposed to the current protocol ? Is it the case that a flash update at some point in the future - hopefully days, 'cos these terrestrial channels are cack - will allow decryption, same as before ?

the new encryption is called Nagra 3, just google it or search at the top of this page for tonnes of information.
it doesnt look like being a short term problem and may take a new type of box to remedy it in the future, many different time frames mentioned, from six months to years.
wheelo

DAMN THE BEGRUDGERS!!!

you should just have a basic package on your box now all movie sports are gone

there is unlikly to be a fix for the problem

unless you get a new box like Kryptview which is working 100%

Nah mate, ALL the channels are gone. Movie and Sports channels went some weeks back, now even the cartoon channels etc that the kids were watching are gone.

What's a Kryptview box and why does IT work when The Box doesn't ? Surely the Nagravision prevents all dodgy boxes and not just some ?
