There's so many old guides floating around I don't know what to trust. I've bought a slim psp with the god of war combo, a 3.80 firmware and a sony psp battery pack 3.6v 1200mah. I don't have access to already modded psp.
From what I've read to be able to play iso games I need a custom (M33) firmware, and to have this I need a modded battery and a modded mem stick.
As for the battery, do I absolutely need to buy an already pandora one or can I convert mine? Is there a software for this? If not, is there any guide for hardmodding my type of battery? If it only imply cutting one pin I might be able to do it...
it is a choice, u can buy the battery or hardmod it. Software for hardmodding ...no. Hardmodding means that u have to physical mod the battery. There is an app to softmod the battery (meaning using software to mod it) however, it requires another custom firmwarepsp. just follow the guide. It will show u how to hardmod the battery. And yes, it is only one pin.
