just started playing alone in the dark.(back up) ,when the disc started making weird noises,then the screen froze.rebooted and got the red rings,so i turned off for a while still rrod.so i held in eject button and reset button and booted up.the xbox start up screen came up.then i put game back in drive and started playing with the red rings still blinking.the game plays ok.how long for i dont no.

RROD, It's probably due to overheating. You can fix this by doing the X-Clamp Mod here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/671180

red rings have gone, now it freezes after a minuite or so.with green and black squares covering the screen.unplug.and same happens with every game i try,it was ok until yestrday going on line to down load bad company demo.and down loading some up dates,do you think that might be the cause.as i never had it online before.
