what do you have? I'll get anything !!! I basically bought a wii, played Mario cart, wii sports and wii play and of course installed the mario kart update. No online so far. When I install the wiikey v3 with wiiclip, will I break my wii? if so, what do I need to do now to prevent it?
I just installed mine about 20 mins ago.But it wont load any import(american or pal,i have a japanese wii) or backups. Do i need to run something first?
betojss, as much as I hate rehashing topics that are abundantly covered elsewhere in this forum, im bored so heres the skinny.
1. You need the following progs/update.
a. Wii Brick Blocker
b. Region Frii
c. Wiikey update 1.9s
2. Once you have said progs, crack open your wii and stick in your chip. No you will not break your wii. (unless decide that licking the drive is a good idea :)
3. Enjoy backups. If you need info on the progs listed use the forum search or google.
JadeKick: You need 2 progs...Again wiikey update 1.9s (if you havent already run it) and regionfrii. Regionfrii will allow you to set your "backup" iso's to the correct format as the wiikey comes from the factory multi region disabled.
Hey I'm sorry to ask so much but, this software appears to be a patch that you apply to the ISOs rather than something that it's installed on the wii or the console itself. is this correct? Are you taking into consideration that I already ran the update for the mario kart as I didn't have the wiikey yet?
