Some iso files not reading on d2ckey

I have a modded wii with d2ckey.

Please can someone advise why my console reads/plays some iso files and not others.

Winter Sports 2008, Mario Party 8, Raving Rabidds all work fine but Mario Kart and Super Mario Galaxy don't spin

All iso files have been burnt via Nero 8 using DVD+RW disks (Verbatim 4.7GB 4x).

Is this simply a bad iso file or do I need to upgrade Wii console and chip?

NTSC-U NTSC-J or PAL?

For what it's worth no issues with Mario Party 8, Raving Rabbids, Mario Kart and Super Mario Galaxy here (PAL Wii, PAL discs)... I don't have Winter Sports to try

Both of those games you mentioned have updates that when along
with them. So it sounds like you need to update the firmware of your chip.

you are probally waiting to see the game logo on the menu screen but not clicking on on the game itself, once you do that it will ask you to update
