i use tsmuxer to change my mkv to ts to stream via tversity to my ps3 but i get no sound, under the track options i change it to 4.1 but it still dont work, i tried m2ts but tversity doesnt recognize it for some reason so i cant stream it.

Change the m2ts file to .m2t and it will play fine under tversity. Do you know what type of audio stream is in the priginal mkv. It might be unsupported and need to be converted.

how i read through that 30 page sticky and i still dont get it, thanks for the help so far though.

Correct. You will have to convert to AC3(Dolby Digital). There is a program called eac3to and eac3togui. You need these to convert the audio. Open you mkv file in tsmuxer. Demux the file. Open your audio stream in the program listed above. Open your new audio stream that you got after conversion and your video stream that you got from the demux. Set to m2ts and you will end up with a fully functional m2ts file that will play now. The sticky at the top is very informative. It is the ps3 compatible video creation thread. I learned a lot from there and there are some good guys who are very helpful.

I just tried the above and the only problem im getting is i can't fastforward or rewind the the finished movie on the ps3!

anyone have a solution??
