So I just bought myself a PS3 (The one with the MGS4 bundle.) I connect it via HDMI from the PS3 to my monitor, a BenQ G2400W. The problem is, my PS3 gives me the "This HDMI device cannot be used for audio output". But it obviously could be because there isn't even anything else that my monitor would be able to have audio input for! Please help me, I desperately want to play my ps3.

That monitor has no speakers. Thats why you are getting that message.

I think you have to go under the PS3 audio options and set it to output from something else, like the A/V cables.

Yeah go into sound settings and switch it to composite; and plug your composite cables into a stereo.
