Will xbox 360 games be ported to PS3?

Obviously some will. I know Bioshock is going from 360 to PS3, but do you guys think it will happen with most of the best selling 360 games? I realize no one probably knows for sure, but what's your opinion?

i doubt you will see alot of the titles merge, ms and sony still dont technically get along with each other.

Probably not.
It'd be cool if they agreed to swap a few though, like Gears or Halo for God Of War, Gotham for F1 or Motorstorm etc

Motorstorm? Horrible game, you should play Dirt instead.
I just want MGS4 from PS3. XBOX exclusives will never go PS3.

i wouldnt mind having one of the originals for PS3 when it was launched. the shooting alien type of creature game. cant remember what it was called though.

Yeah I have Dirt, been playin the colin mcraes since they came out, love em. Did the US get all the mcrae games or just dirt?
I've heard MGS4 is more of a movie than a game.....

The game you are talking about is it called Resistance Fall of Man bro.I have Resistance Fall of Man and to be honest I like Gears of War better.I highly doubt Sony and MS will swap exlusives with each other.They are trying to compete with each other so they are not going to help each other out.Sony has one thing that is an advantage though,and it is the Blu-Ray player.I don't think the XBox 360 is going to have a Blu-Ray player as Sony has full rights to Blu-Ray.I could name some from Sony that are exclusives that will probably never be on the XBox which are: God of War,Final Fantasy(maybe only seen 11 on the XBox),Killzone,Resistance Fall of Man,Tekken,Gran Turismo,Heavenly Sword etc...the list could go on but the XBox has some really good games as well.I would like to see Gears of War,Halo,Fable,Ninja Gaiden on the PS3 as they are pretty good.I think both consoles have some good shooter games though,and since I like sports games alot they both have them as well.Sony does need to get the developers motivated or something,because the game selection at the moment sucks for the PS3.You know what would be a cool game to see for both consoles a second version of Black would be cool I think or a sequel to psi-ops.To be honest I'm waiting on the new Resident Evil to come out,because it looks awesome so far from what I've seen.

thats the game im thinking of!! my roommate from last year had a ps3 and that game so i played it a lil bit, but i liked it more than GOW. GOW was to idk, just boring for me while resistance was more fun.

Its a good game don't get me wrong I just like Gears of War better for some reason.I think the controls are smoother in GOW,but it was too short I thought.I think Resident Evil 4 has the best shooting system I've seen no lie.It has a mixture of 3rd person and 1st person view.When you are running around you can see your character,but when you go to shoot someone it switches to a 1st person view real quick.I like Call of Duty 4 alot which suprised me when they did aerial views of bombing stuff very original I thought to myself.I think that is one of my favorite games for the 360 I have played so far.

Anyways I dont like Ninja Gaiden games at all. Its so predictable and too much of a button smasher. And the Ninja Gaiden dude looks like a queer when he runs.
Now Shinobi and Tenchu are cool ninja games that should be on both systems. I know Tenchu was ported to 360 but it was crap... pretty much a clone of the PS2 version. They should continue with a new storyline instead of remaking them.

Ninja Gaiden isn't for the PS3 all they did was port the very first one.Ninja Gaiden Sigma sucks I wouldn't even call that a port since it is a regular XBox game.I would want XBox 360 games ported to the PS3 not regular XBox games.Shinobi is alright I thought,but Ninja Gaiden is alot better than both of those games.Tenchu you just sneak around alot bleh don't care for sneaking around,and Shinobi is a button mashing game how is it not? I've played Shinobi & Nightshade and they are both button mashing games.The thing I like about Ninja Gaiden better than the rest is the difficulty also.You won't be able to run through Ninja Gaiden real quick like the others.

That probably why I thought it was weak...
I didnt remember shinobi being a button smasher for some reason it has been several years so i guess i could be wrong.
Iv always been a big fan of Tenchu since the beginning tho...it kinda reminds me of MGS. It makes more sense that ninjas would sneak around and assasinate ppl instead of a gameplay like Ninja Gaiden which IMO plays kinda like DMC. Im gonna have to try it tho I just got an elite today off craigslist.

Final Fantasy: Oblivion has this cover in my opinion, never got into turn based rpg, i'm not Japanese rpg fan.
Killzone: blah, played it on psp, just another shooting game.
Resistance: Cool game.

MS did a big favor releaseing Halo and GOW to PC, so PS3 fanbois can play without buying an xbox. I guess Marketing figured you make more money from PC fans buying that then keeping in on xbox and addtional revenue form there.

There is no way either company would give up exclusive games, if anything they're trying to get pre-existing cross platform games to go exclusive.
And if it did happen the games would suffer either on one of the systems or both, I'd rather buy a system and play the game the way it was meant to be than put up with a miserable port that the dev's slapped together.

Motostorm and Dirt are both crap imo, horrible physics engines in both of them; though it just might be my taste in racing games.
And I don't want to start anything but there is no way that mgs4 is going to come out on the 360, I'm tired of seeing these rumors everywhere.

The psp version of Killzone is nowhere near a PS2 or PS3 version in my opinion.The Final Fantasy games are not all turn based but I do agree to a certain extent not all that crazy about rpg games either.The Mortal Kombat games are not really exclusive,but they are cool or I would have put that in the list.I think Heavenly Sword is not all that great,but there are people that like it so I put it up there.I would say out of that whole list up there I think God of War is the best one,and yeah it is a button mashing game but the plot is what makes God of War not always the gameplay.I could care less about the gameplay for Metal Gear Solid,but the story is well thought out and is really good.I don't like stealth games at all so stealth games such as Metal Gear,Splinter Cell,Tenchu don't really interest me.I would rather play a game like Black,Kill.switch,Psi Ops etc... something that doesn't require hiding most of the time.I like sports games and shooters alot.

Yeah I really would like to see MGS4 on xbox360. I'm willing to trade off GOW for it! Trade off GOW and Halo Actaully.

Kinda sucks for ppl who dont own a PS3 cuz MGS4 is just amazing...
For those who have never played any MGS before it would probably be confusing and they would think the game is boring.
So I dont see it ever coming out on the 360...I dont think MS would waste their money trying to bring a game onto their console that nobody would ever buy unless they are a MGS fan. Cuz who goes out and buys MGS4 without having ever played any of the first ones?
Oh and IMHO I think MGS4 has the best graphics out of any console game I have ever seen.

That makes no sense. being a Metal Gear game only makes it more appealing. People that have never played the game will be more likely to buy it since it's a well know name with many games on many platforms. I guaranty you MGS4 will eventually come to 360. Guaranty. Case and point: MGS2 for XBOX, and MGS1 for Game Cube.

Haha lol oh no not the MGS 4 game again lets say it does come out for the 360 which is still kind of skeptical.I have a feeling it could be done by using the harddrive instead of discs.The only downfall would be is the 360 capable of playing it.I don't think I could go as far as to say its a gaurantee that it will be on the 360,but its probably possible I'm just not real gung hoe about MGS games like everybody else.The graphics are nice on the game and the story is good,but the gameplay suffers in my opinion.I agree with BurningAs in a way,just look at Grand Theft Auto 4 CrisKhan2.I have seen people go out and buy Grand Theft Auto 4 without playing any of the releases before it.

And this is why we get so many people complaining about mgs4 because they have no sweet clue what the heck is going on because they haven't played any of the others before splurging on it. GTA4 doesn't have that problem because none of their stories spans to a second game significantly.

Guarantee all you want its not gonna happen, you should see all the pro-sony or anti-microsoft stuff they laced into the game if microsoft were to get the game the'd end up with a grenade with the pin out.

Again, just like GTA4, if it's not first party game, the exclusive agreement between Konami and Sony will expire and where else would it go buy 360? Certainly not the Wii.

Like I said earlier...ppl that are not MGS fans will not enjoy the game. MGS has kept its style of gameplay ever since it came out on the PS1. It has only gotten better so If you didnt enjoy MGS4 then you would not enjoy any of the MGS series at all.
And that is why it will definitely not come out on the 360. Cant compare it to GTA4 because like Canuckerz said the GTA series are not linked. Its an easy pick up and play.
It would be like Halo4 coming out to the PS3...and thats not even as bad in comparison because Halo4 is a FPS and you would probably enjoy the game regardless if you know the strotyline or not.
