Can not get my wii to reading my backup disk.

I am not sure what went wrong but all of a sudden my wii stop reading my disk. I have a wiinja and has the newest update on there. It just keeps saying disk was unable to be recognized look at the owners manuel. I have played all these games I had before all of a sudden it stopped working. Is my disk drive no good any more? Is there another problem I do not know about.

If you installed the 3.3 firmware update then scrubbed discs are reported as not working... could that be it?
