I've gone through the sticky guides and I just ordered a Datel Tool battery (slim) and a 4GB Sony memory card. I see that there are several variants of firmware but I'm not sure which one is 'better'

3.90 m33-3
3.95 GEN-2

or wait for 4.00 variants

I currently have a silver slim PSP. Are there advantages/disadvantes to using either firmwares? Do both support Network update?

I'll be using the cfw for legal backups of my PSX and SNES games. Thanks everybody!

1. For slims, u should upgrade to 3.95 GEN. Since they have more PSX support.

2. I found that these two firmware are like the same. Except that 3.95 GEN is better with the slim.

3. The both firmware both support Network Update The M33 has access to Sony firmware, and M33. The GEN firmware has access GEN,M33 and Sony.

3.90M33-3 (phat) n 3.95 GEN(phat/slim) is the only two i can recommend.
