I have the argon chip and had someone solder it for me. Is there a simple way to update it myself? Where would I even find the update or which update is already on the chip?

You need the Jtag programmer that connects to the Flat Cable that is coming out of the Wii system. You can get the updates via the Infectus site HERE.

You will need to know what instillation was done 13 + 4 wire or 9 wire.
