Hi ive moved from the uk to perth wa my wii has been fitted with an argon chip if i update my wii in oz will it stop all my uk games working or will it be fine still...thanks.. chris

Bad form to bump - someone will answer when they want to answer...

If you update your Wii via the internet it will pick the right version for itself - so your PAL (Euro) Wii will continue to pick up the "E" series updates. The risk is if you get an update from a gamedisc that's not from Europe (although it's entirely possible that the AUS/NZ market being small and PAL has exactly the same discs as Europe so the risk would be gone in that case)
