I recently bought a (Conia) dvd recorder with usb streaming capabilities.

Although it works fine, I note something seemingly odd ? the video image doesn't display as wide or big as intended. In fact, it seems to stream/display at half the size ? occupying only half my tv screen.

It doesn't matter if I alter the display settings either (from, say, 16.9 to Pan and Scan) ? the image continues to be played at a reduced screen size.

The exact same movie files display as intended if played off a dvd-r, so presumably usb streaming can only display at reduced size.

Is that right or normal? If not, how can I correct it please?
