PSP recovery problem : (

I will get straight to the point, when i put the recovery folder onto my PSP it comes up as a corrupted file so i though i must have done it before and have the offical firmware, but when i try to update to version 4 of the official firware it says my system configurations are not correct. So i am not sure wether i have an offical or custom firware, i think i have an offical since under system infomation it says i have version 3.11. So i think i need the pandora's battery to fix this but i dont want to by one and i am too scared of hardmoding my battery so is there another way around this or anthoer way to get a pandora's battery??

basically all i want to do is know why when ever i put the recovery file, it is corrupted. I put the file in PSP>GAME and i have put the 1.50 update into the folder. The file name is RECOVERY so i havnt forgot about the caps, im nto sure what else can be affecting it...

You dont need the pandora to upgrade or downgrade 3.11 just downgrade to 1.50 and then upgrade to 3.52 m33 and then upgrade to 3.71 m33 and leave it there because i think that 3.90 and 3.95 gen have alot of bugs

Also, you will not be able to run the recovery file from the XMB. You have to go into to recovery menu and select the option that says something like 'run file at PSP\Game\Recovery\Recovery.phb'.

Aw i have to buy the lumines CD to go from version 3.5 to 1.5 and i get the error code DRNFFFFFFCD when i try to update to version 3.5 so i am still stuck at 3.11, apparently it is caused by my key5 but if i try to run a keycleaner on my PSP i get the same code :P

Is it possible to downgrade to version 1.5 by a pandra's battery and a magic memory stick?
