I was playing a ps1 game on my psp, running 3.95 GEN-2. I was done playing, so I pressed home, told it to quit, and then it just sat there on Please Wait... for a while.. So I shut it off. Looking back, probably a bad idea. Now my psp's bricked. Desperately trying to figure out a way to fix it, I formatted flash1, and now I don't even have the recovery menu. Instead I have the blue screen of death telling me to press O to revert to default settings. I press O, it sits there for a minute, then shuts down. When I start it up, it does the same thing. It ONLY brings up the blue screen when I have no memory stick in. Otherwise I just get a black screen...
So: I have no access to the recovery menu, the psp doesn't work when there's a memory stick in it. How can I fix this? PLEASE help, this is driving me insane! >_<
I got it to bring up the blue screen with the memory stick in... But it's still not working... Shuts off a few seconds after I press O, then when I start it up again, it does the same thing... Someone please help? This is driving me insane...
if u got pandora's battery [magic mem and jigkick batt] try to install a official firmware 3.90 ,so play awhile with some UMD disk or watch some umd movie,
then install again some custom firmware 3.90m33 [ despertar del cementerio v5] and just update to 3.90m33-3 [ not install gen firmwares] ok
hope this help and fix your problems
Alright. My friend's on his way over right now with his modded psp so I can re-make my Pandora. I also got from another person on another forum that I should fix the flash1 partition, so I'm going to try that too if 3.90 doesn't work. Thanks for helping.
