Excellent. I knew this would be a relatively quick fix. All nintendo did was have the console look for the specific twilight hack files, they can't fix the glitch that the hack is exploiting because that's built into the game, not the wii firmware.

the only way to remove the hack is to re-release twilight princess without the glitch. if nintendo was smart enough, they would've recalled all the TP on store shelves, and send out new copies without the glitch.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

The glitch is there to stay :) But for trucha signed disk, there's nothing to do about them. There will be another 'signer' hopefuly

Not worth the money it would have cost them. By the time the twilight hack was discovered twilight princess had been out for many months, there were simply too many copies in circulation.

Plus, even if they somehow managed to recall all of the original disks, anyone with a modchip could just use a backup copy of one of the old disks to run the hack, so it would gain them very little in the long run.

Great news to hear.

But not so great once nintendo finds out there is a version that bypasses there firmware fix but even more scary is with the release of this hack the next firmware version 3.4 may contain even tougher security.

Scary thought

I made a modified PAper mario disk that auto boots the wad installer, I used the Truncha signer to make it work, after the 3.3 update would this no longer work?

Correct - Trucha signing key is revoked in 3.3 - so Trucha signing no longer works.

and ur point is? firmware is just a BUNCH of coding..... compared to a BIOS of ur Motherboard

and those my good man CAN be rolled BACK

so my conclusion is the Wii Firmware can be undone too!

WTF? :p

Not at all. If it was possible to roll back wii firmware it would be well documented and all over the net... therefore its not real. It can't be done
