my old PSP fat got messed up, traded in for PSP slim. it was already 3.90 m33 from gamestop, updated to 3.90 m33-2, now..
semi-brick of a sort. it rarely comes on normally, even then, after about 30 seconds it crashes and shuts down. how to fix? trying to update to m33-3, but it won't stay on long enough..
the only thing i can remember doing other than update was removing the 'pandora battery installer' icon.
what do i need to do to fix it?

Try one two things:

1) Try updating leaving the PSP charged over the AC adapter

OR, if it doesn't work, try:

2) Try getting a Pandora's Battery and updating / downgrading to a different version. You can make a Pandora's Battery using this guide: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610312

If it doesn't turn on then try Pandora's Battery but if you have the 2-year warranty, use it. Wait, is the warranty from Sony? Because they won't help if they notice you have CFW but they usually use their own Pandora's Battery so they might not figure it out.

OK. But if you can't manage Pandora's Battery with the wrong buttons, don't hesitate to take advantage of your warranty because if it's permanent, they might replace it for a new one.

Also, are the buttons MIXED up or just don't work for example is the L-Trigger functioning the O button or is everything just not working?

Either way, your warranty would be the best idea.
