I have updated my PSP from 3.80 m33-5 to 3.95 gen-2, and I can't
play now PS1 games on it.Yes, I have enabled popsloader, but the screen always turns black when I run a PS1 game.I used a version
of POPSTATION GUI [it is not the new one], and set the UMD MODE to
SONY N9960 [or something like that, I don't remember the numbers]
Please help quick, and I don't won't to make pandora stuff to get
back to 3.80 m33 or 3.90 m33.At least can you please give me a quick
tutorial what do i need to do to play PS1 on my GEN, or I can't play them at all.I'm having slim and lite.
Please answer quick because i can't wait 4.0 m33!!!
Ok but I will better wait for 4.0 m33, because I don't won't to make pandora stuff [memory stick and battery] or is there any way to downgrade without making pandora.
well,
i have the same problem. i'm stuck on 3.95 GEN-2 and i want to go back to 3.71 m33-4
i'm on a phat, with a pandora's battery.
but i have no idea what to put on the memory stick,
i have the magic memory stick from downgrading my 3.9something official firmware back down to 1.50 but i don't want to have to go through all that stuff again.
any help on where to get the files to go back to 3.71 m33-4 from 3.95 GEN-2?

NOOOO! just set up the 3.71 m33 update folder as normal but name the folder "RECOVERY" instead of "UPDATE" (both without quotes) and then go into recovery menu and press "run program from PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP" and then install as normal. This works because the system recovery menu does not take the cptbl.DAT and the index.DAT into account, allowing the system to boot any update.
