This guy on craigslist in my area is selling his 6 month old 360 elite with 5 games, 2 guitar hero guitars, and 2 controllers all for $400.
Sounds like a good deal right? There must be a catch...
Well there is. He said that he fried his power cord because he used the intercooler. But he said that the 360 still works, I just need a new power cord.
So the question is should I trust this guy? How in the hell would he know if the 360 still works if the power cord is fried? And even if it still works, would it have problems later down the road?
This guy either has no sense of value or he is trying to pull a fast one on me.
What do you think? Should I take up on this deal or another deal I found of just the elite with everything included in box for $300?
Well you could go to a Wal Mart and pick up a new power cord, take it with you to his house, and use it to check out the 360. If it works, great. You would have needed that power cord anyhow.
If the 360 don't work, walk away and return the cord and get your money back.
you want to be worried about this thing turning on, like the board, and making sure it will play a game. if not dont bother. dont worry about it going down the road. man a cable short you can fix yourself. its the key components that make it function you want to be worried about. sounds like its too good to be true, that or the guy is retarded. go check it out. if it powers up and plays a game take it.
