When ever i try to update my PSP (normal firmware, versio 3.11, i always get the agem could not be started code) also when i tried to run a IDstore key cleaner i also get a 8002 code. According to the decoded PSP errors on this website it has something to do with the kernal. I have no idea what a kernal is so i am hoping that someone heer can please tell me how to fix this, also i ahve a PHAT PSP if that helps in any way, if you need more infomation please ask :) This error has been stopping me doing thingy on my PSP for age and its starting to get annyoing >.<

Also i have a friend who has a normal working PSP if that can help me, and i do not want to hardmod my battery / card. Also as i said before basically all programme i try to run get a 8002 error code, please help O.o

what update are you trying to run?

if its a cfw update then it wont work.

the error message your getting is to do with it not allowing the unlicensed code to boot

you will need to buy a pandoras battery if you dont want to hard mod it or if your friend has cfw then you can uses his to make a pandoras battery

i have a normal/official sony firmware that was once a custom firmware (but i changed it back using the recovery file). I tried running version 3.50, 3.90 and 4.0 and all of them have failed with the error (DRNFFFFFFCD, the system configuration of the PSP does not appear to be correct) i only got my psp to version 3.11 by inserting a UMD game that required that verion and updated it through the UMD.

So how do i get the system configurations correct again?

DRNFFFFFFCD - you have a patched key 5, you need to use keycleaner or idstorage manager to unpatch key 5

i tried to use a key cleaner but the key5 error made it not work ironically :(

is there a way i can copy a key 5 from my friend / the internet & how do i view my keys?

atm i think the only way i can fix my PSP is to get my friends PSP and change it to a custom firmware to make a pandora's battery + magic memory stick or buy one. Are there any other possible options?
