right if you understood how they worked you'll understand why its so hard to creat a downgrader.
right a downgrader works a lot different to pandoras in that there needs to be a exploit that you can use. this means that someone will need to spend hours putting odd data into the psp untill he/she finds a result that reboots the psp or activates a kinda debug mode. now sony will pay people to do this for them so they can fix it so the new the firmware the less exploits. now once a programmer has found this exploit he will now need to write a program that can allow you to boot the 1.50 installer or CFW installer. then the programmer will have to test it and fix any problems with it.
then you have a downgrader
pandoras battery works a lot different. it runs off the eeprom which sony uses themselfs to unbrick psps. the eeprom is changed to a different hex value that allows the psp to be booted from the memory card and not the flash0 so it means that it doesnt matter what firmware your on it still works now a programmer can use this to boot any program they want off the memory stick
its very good for the slim as it can install cfw and not just downgrade to 1.50
hope that explains why its hard and they will never make a downgrader if there is something that can downgrader any ofw psp.

Its not a matter of rebooting a psp as Dr1ver said you need odd data for example: Gta Lcs exploit there was a buffer overflow which caused access to the memory stick and triggered unsigned code. To create a downgrader you need to test almost every game you can to see which part boots that code. Now that pandoras created people dont want to spend time making downgraders when they can make cool apps for us like Time machine and new cfw.

you won't find exploits or downgraders for 3.51 or higher because sony knows the code to OE/M33 firmware, due to a leak of the source code. whatever DAX did, sony covered up in the next firmware upgrade, closing out any exploits.
pandora's battery bypasses everything because it boots outside of the firmware flash on the psp.
ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10

got a whole lot more to list . . .

doesn't matter. if sony knows the source code, then they know what other custom firmware uses.
it's not going to stop; sony is going to keep on rolling out new firmwares that are more strict on security. pandora's battery is the safest way to get custom firmware. it's not worth using in game downgraders anymore.

leave it kid trust me if you have never programmed before dont even bover looking for an exploit.
as cee43ja1 kinda said sony keeps patching the holes in the firmware with every new one. there are still holes in it like any program its never 100% strong im sure 4.00 could be cracked to find the exploit as its now been decypted

no it wont as pandoras will downgrade and install cfw with 4.00 so why waste time making a downgrader/cfw installer when its already out.
if you want to install cfw on your psp you could buy a pandoras battery which will help

what country are you in dealextream will deliver to any country and if you have a computer im sure you must have enough money for one.
also any downgrader that did come out would likely run off a game so you'd have to buy a game you may as well just spend the money on the pandoras battery

yer its called constant nagging lol
i did think about that but any downgrader now would likely need a game and exploit the loading buffers so you would still have to buy something.
though you could buy a battery of the high street and hard mod it if online shopping was a problem.
