Hi i have a psp that was giving to me by a friend so i can fix it . The thing is that another person put the nand of another psp and they didnt make a backup is there a way to fix this . if not will changing the motherboard help or it would be the same thing being that the nand contains the serial of the umd drive .



any help will be realy be apreciated

well it would be best to put it in a coffin and send it to heaven.


a new motherboard costs a lot and isnt worth it you might as well send it to sony and pay a bit to get it fixed it'll be a tad cheaper than a new motherboard

Unfortunately due to the ID Storage info not being saved the UMD and WiFi will no longer work. But you should still be able to put custom firmware on it and play games/homebrew/pictures off the Memory Stick.

I figured as much is funny how sony can fix this issue in a snap they just punch in the barcode on theyre system and they upload the correct nand and voila . i hope DAX will come sometime with a firmware thats completely sony free . Its kinda possible but well see wat happens thanks for all youre help anyways

the problem is that its all stored in a sony database so it will be illegil for dax to get hold of it so nothing will ever be made to correct nand unless there is a link between the psp code and the id storage code.

my thoughts exactly . anyways is there a downgrader within 3.52m33 to take it back to 1.50 cuz its on 3.52m33 so if he takes it back to sonywat a surprise th at itl be on m33 firmware

connect the flash0 to the comp and format it and it will be a brick no m33 anymore
