anyone else have trouble reading the sectors of alone in the dark for 360, say it can't unlock sectors, any help would be appriciated.
still gonna try some other ways. But maybe someone out there has had better luck.

thanks to all who read this but i restarted my computer and drive and it seems to be reading now at 4x the speed. so if anyone else has this problem REBOOT :}

I'm having trouble with this game as well. I tried rebooting and changing the speed several times. It just gets stuck at 3.39% while its trying to process the security or something. I'm using XBC 2.8. Any tips on how to solve this problem? Thanks.

im not sure which version of xbc im using , did you try and make sure all correct checked boxes are checked. and also try cleaning the disk is any scratches on it. These are dumb answeres but sometimes they work or take the game back and exchange for same game and try again. Ive done that before and got it to work. also try and set speed to slower read and right. Let me know if any other questions.

I am having the same problem as RCZG. I tried using XBC 2.8 but it gets to 3.39% and then stops. I then tried to use Schtrom360 but it did the same. I tried to extract the SS.bin from it and all i get is an error message saying Can't Extract SS.bin. I've restarted my PC multiple times to see if that fixes the problem but it hasn't done so. The disc is clean and only has a few very minor scratches. Could someone please help me out? Thanks

I think it might be cuz ita an Atari Game and I hear they are much harder if any to make a backup of. I rented that games and I use XBC 2.7 and it wouldnt go poast 3.39%. I rebooted let it sit for while and still did the same thing. Put another orignal game that just came out NCAA FOOTBALL 09 and it worked just fine. Alone In the Dark is the only game I have had problems with. Has anyone tried to backup Dragonball Z since I see thats an Atari game also want to see if I might have the same problem.

sorry guys for the late delay for this tread, i use xbc 2.4, and it worked for me. you can email me at no emails allowed and ill try and send this version to ya. i have the complete backup checked,
i have image tools set to auto , and extract, option i have everything checked except add tag info and set speed to 4x, other than that i wish i could help more.
Hopefully someone gets it to work, and the backup i maid works perfectly.

p.s. i also diconected my reading drive and shut it down , rebooted than with game in drive then connected reader with alone in dark in it. maybe that might work?

Lower the read speed.
