Is it fine to go from 3.02 OE firmware to M33 firmware by means of Pandora's battery?

I'm suppose to mod someone's PSP and she has 3.02 OE firmware. I have a Pandora's battery and I was wondering if it's fine to use the Pandora's battery on her PSP to upgrade to M33 firmware. But the Despertar del Cementerio readme says to only use the Pandora's battery if it's your only option. But I don't feel like getting all these files, downgrading to 1.50, then upgrading to M33 firmware when I have a ready-made Pandoa's battery. So can I just use the Pandora's battery? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
