i've been reading some tutorials and i just have a few questions before i get started.

first one is, the kreon drive is only needed to read 360 games, right? so if let's say from somewhere i got my hands on a 360 game iso, then i wont be needing a kreon drive. is my assumption right?

then for flashing my drive, which do you guys think is better, a Xeno Top Gear or a Blaster 360 NE? (better = easy install, easy use, good quality, good price) or are there any other better solutions that also only requires me to open my 360 once?

also, what's the difference between "360 connectivity kits" and those two i listed above?

last question. let's say i installed the needed hardware to connect to my drive, then flash my drive, then find an iso and burn that with the right bitsetting, will i then be able to play backups after these basic steps?

thanks

If you obtain your game isos from elsewhere you would not need a Kreon drive.

Blaster 360 is probably more expensive since it was introduced first. Of you flash it right, you really don't need to open your xbox ever again since it looks like C4E stopped releasing more FW. So buying either one would be a waste.

360 connectivity Kit is used to flash Hitachis. Different things

Flash burn play

so, xeno topgear and blaster 360 are for both hitachis and samsungs, right?

if i dont get a xeno topgear or a blaster360, what would i need to patch my drive? a sata cable and a power supply?

at this point, would it be safe to assume that new firmwares won't be released for the drive? which means that, i only need to open my xbox now and never have to reopen it without needing a blaster360?

last question, can i use RWs? so i can reuse cds?

thanks
