hello
i have psp with 3.71 m33 firmware i am used to install iso games and just putting them into the iso folder and usually they work but i have downloaded some games files
Everybodys Golf 2 [EUR - MULTi 5- PSP][]
[PSP]7_Wonders_Of_The_Ancient_World[EUR][MULTi5]
[NDS]7_Wonders_of_the_Ancient_World[EUR][]

and they all have the iso files in them but when i start the games the psp shutdown by itself

-i thought the files are corrupted but i tried another downloads and they all turns the same way
-i checked the UMD mode and its sony np9660 and the clock speed
-the Plain modules and execute boot.bin are disabled
-the memory stick suppports magic gate
-i format flash1 and reset settings

tried it all and nothing worked
anyone knows what the reason could be?!

Can you copy and paste the entire file name with extension? Did you extract the file?

Now what I can suggest:
1. Make UMD Mode to M33 Driver and try
2. Make UMD Mode to Normal and try with a UMD in the drive
3. Try another PSP
4. Try another Memory Stick
5. Upgrade to 4.01 M33-2
6. Compress to CSO
7. Rip one of your games to ISO and see if your PSP will play it

Welcome. Now a question for you if you have any PS1 games. Do they work? Mine don't on 4.01 M33-2.

Make sure you put the game into X:\PSP\GAME not into ISO

Yea, I did that. My PS1 games worked fine in previous firmware but have problems now. I think its because I needed popsloader to run them in the past. The game Crash Bandicoot 3 works fine but Crash Team Racing doesn't work. Is there any way to replace the pops in the flash to version 3.40? That had the best compatibility for my games.

I checked here for compatibility and it doesn't say anything about 4.01 M33.

I might edit it to say doesn't work.
