Wii giving disc error messages

I've the following setup:

Wiikey: 1.9s
Wii frimware: 3.3J

After updating from 3.2J to 3.3J, my JPN Wii is always giving out a disc error messages(in Japanese white wording - black background) whenever I insert some NTSC-U backup games like We Ski, Speed Racer, Cooking Mama and Winning Eleven etc. I've to power cycle the Wii in order to bring it back to the Wii main menu. Other NTSC-U and NTSC-J games are still working fine.

Is this because they're trucha signed and srucbbler games which are blocked by 3.3J updates?

How can I tell if the games are trucha signed or srucbbler?

Is there anyway to overcome it?

Please help!!
