Tmpgenc not recognizing SVCD files

Hi
I am trying to burn two SVCD files to DVD using TMPGENC DVD Author, which of course tells me I can't burn 480 by 480 files and the GOP is too long.

So I try to reencode using TMPGENC, but it tells me it can't open the files or they are unsupported. The files play fine in PowerDVD, and I have tried installing mulitple MPEG2 codes, but it doesn't help. Basically I am just looking to get these two files on a DVD with the ability to add chapters, which TMPGENC DVD Author does a terrific job.....really TMPGENC is a great product... been using it for the longest time and has never let me till now.
