How do I backup a Magic Memory Stick?

Can I just backup all the files from my Magic Memory Stick and put it in a folder, then format that stick so I can use it as a normal memory stick, and if I want that stick to become a Magic Memory Stick again, can I just remove the partition from my memory stick using mspformat, and then place the files I backed up? Will that work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You can use a MMS as a normal one at the same time, you know.
