ok i was wondering if a wiikey can become defective or "fried" by holding the soldering iron on for too long because i have some sort of shaking hands and i just want to know if its completly fine holding a 30W soldering iron on the wiikey for more than 5 seconds or so

If that is the level of soldering you can achieve, perhaps you shouldn't be doing it yourself ??
