A good majority of the games probably won't enable you to utilize your previous saves. The reason why Burnout is enabling us to utilize our saved data, as Oner pointed out, is because the game saved data is tied into our PSN name--something that can't be forged or transfered (like regular saved data).
That is very cool too, by the way since Burnout Paradise is one of those games that you will NOT want to go back and find everything lol.
FW 2.40 is cool. It sucks that so very few games are up to speed with it. Then again, it's only been out for 70 minutes. And Criterion already said they're patching Burnout Paradise!!!

I'll be sure to update this evening. I forgot to check this morning. not being able to use your old saves is a concern, cuz I dont want to do everything over. But the new trophies system is a good reson to start over, just to see what trophies you would have receeived if the trophy system was in place from launch day.

Time to blow the dust off Burnout and see what trophy I get :)
I hope Burnout supports in-game customized music. I read that not all games will support this feature due to "the experience that the devs want the player to have." Burnout, Fight Night and Dirt are really the only two games I care to have my own music right now.

As of right now, Burnout doesn't support the in-game music. With the next update Criterion is doing, they're gonna allow custom soundtracks, I dunno if that's through FW 2.40 or if it's specific to Burnout only. Should be fun though.

I agree. It's so simple yet it's such a big upgrade.

If ingame music runs off the ingame xmb why do games have to be patched to use it? Why can't it just work along with the ingame xmb?

^^ Nobody knows yet. The ability to play in-game music from the XMB isn't available yet since none of the games (at least none of the ones I own) give you the opportunity to play it.
From what I was reading about Burnout's upcoming patch, I was under the impression that they would have had their own customizable soundtrack (much like MLB 08 the Show)--not necessarily playing music off of the XMB. MLB08 the show allows you to create a custom playlist of songs from your HDD that is played throughout the game's menus.

Oh yeah! And i am loving that gane because of that fact! if every game had that we wouldnt need in game music xmb. The haze demo already has in game xmb si i assume once again its up to the developers.
