hi, i just bought a ps3 that i will be hooking up tommorow. i have some video files that i would like to put on its hard drive, they are to big to put on a flash drive or memory card. is there any way i can transfer the files straight from my laptop to the ps3?

Did you even do a search for this?

Try TVersity or Red Kawa file server.

You can try streaming it by using the 'Search for media servers' icon in the XMB. You can access them when your computer is turned on and just copy them to the hard drive without needing to copy it into a flash drive.

if you have media player 11 you can do the share option and use your pc as a media server to the ps3
