Developer Torch dropped us a line earlier to announce the release of Lockdown v3.0. For those asking, Lockdown is a homebrew application that enables you to password-protect your PSP.
This app also protects your handheld's Recovery Menu, ensuring that gaining access to it is anything but easy. This new build will feature improved memory usage, and will now enable its users to customize its GUI.
Lockdown v3.0 was tested on a PSP Slim running on CFW 3.90M33-3, and should also work on the PSP Phat. Those interested in downloading this homebrew will want to access the file bundle's readme for proper installation and usage details.
Loading this app will involve accessing your PSP's flash0, which may lead to bricking if you're not careful. Those interested leaving their feedback regarding Lockdown will want to visit Torch's release thread at the QJ.NET PSP Development Forum.
Look around the readme/the app on your psp. There is possibly something around there that can unlock the M33 recovery menu again. If the psp is loading fine then it is not Semi bricked.

thank you but
it doesnt help me at all.
when i try to get to my boot menu it just goes to a blank screen.
and also ive just relized that when i put it in sleep mode and then turn it back on
it restarts
From what i have seen in the readme, you need to follow the steps to uninstall this application. After you succsesfully uninstall it you should beable to get back into your recovery menu. If you have a backup of the flash 0, then you can just replace it all with your backup. To get into the flash from the main screen, press SELECT the a small menu should pop up. Change the usb device to flash 0 then acticate USB. If you cant seem to uninstall it, then youre best bet would be to reinstall 3.90 M33-3 or update to 4.01 M33-2.
If it still wount let you into the recovery menu, then you can always try creating a pandoras battery and installing a new firmware that way.
This guide is used for recovering semi bricked psp's. But it can be used for creating a pandora on a working custome firmware psp.
