Hello everyone, this is my first post, but i;ve been coming to this forum for problems for a long time.

About six months ago i had a friend use a hard-modded psp battery to put CFW 3.71m33 on my fat psp (ver.1001b2) if that helps with anything. I dont remember when it bricked exactly (trying to update to 3.80m33?), but now whenever I turn it on, just the green power light comes on. I bought a Datel tool battery, and used the "TOTALnewbieInstaller" successfully on my friends psp (which had official firmware on it), but it did not work on mine. when i put the pandoras battery and same memory stick that worked for my friends psp in mine, the powerlight came on, and the wifi and memorystick light came on. nothing booted up. i have tried numerous different installers for the magic memory stick, like catb50, and the original pandoras installer. UPMS seemed to be the best solution, being the most recent and everytihng, but that dosent work either. If anybody could help me it would be much appriciated.

i have access to a psp fat runniing any CFW that it needs, a datel tool battery, a regular soft-modded pandoras battery, a 1gb mem stick pro duo, and i'm using windows xp pro.

Thanks for replying. when i put it in the hold position it does the same thing, there is a black screen and all of the lights light up but there is no memory stick activity shown. I've heard that some psps do not show any text on the screen, but hitting x and waiting about 10 minutes will leave you with a clean CFW install.
