D2Ckey not reading originals

hi, i just finished installing my D2Ckey and i can play backups just fine but when i put in an original it won't play. it spins up and then the blue LED flashes once and the DVD stops spinning giving me the can't read disc error on my Wii.

My chipset is the D2B even though my serial # points to the D2C (which is why i ordered the D2Ckey)
i know that the D2B is not supposed to be compatable with the D2Ckey but it seems to work just fine with backups so...
i was wondering if this could be fixed or if i could add a switch somwhere to diable the chip when i want to play an original game.

The serial tracker only gives you a clue as to what your Wii MAY be. The chip you use is solely dependant on the physical chip you actually have. Since you have a D2B chip, and it does work with backups ... what does your chip look like? Is it the newer one with no labeling on the chip itself and jumpers near H J and K? I have the same chip and confused as to what these are for.

my D2C has no jumpers near H j and k if that is what you mean but it has jumper 1 and 2 next to Z i think you might have a ripoff chip seeing as there is only one version of the D2Ckey that is on the market besides the Beta test chips
