I installed a d2c wi clip chip on my wii yesterday and the wii wouldn't read any disks, so I took of the chip and it would read fine. I then heard of people holding a paper clip or screwdriver to the clk part of the wii clip. I did this and the wii would accept disks. [url=http://www.wii-clip.com/V4B_for_D2pro-9.htm][/url]I then soldered the CLK, which it accepts disk but it won't read any dvds. I figured I would test a dvd before making a backup.

Do I need to make a backup first or do I need to desolder the CLK jumper and make a jumper to the both J points. Thanks

Also even though the wiiclip is taking disk how do I know it's working correctly?
