I just found out that Super Mario Baseball has been out on the wii in Japan since June 18????? Is there a release somewhere? What's the compatability like for this NTSC-J game on a NTSC-U??
I enjoyed the gamecube game so I'm gonna give this a look.
The US doesn't come out till August. Any ideas?

If you want to play jap games on a us console you would need to make it region free, there are lots of guides around for this.

I searched on UseNet (newzbin) and couldn't find anything. I searched news sites, there is what seems to be a nuked release out there. The fact that it's not yet on usenet says to me there is no good release, but I wanted to check here to be sure since it's been out for almost a month, and I don't check torrent or private sites. Also maybe someone knows if there is a new update on this disc.
Please, no more useless witty answers Im not a scrub that just learned how to browse the web OK? I've been around the ISO scene from the PS1/DC days. If you know about a release of this game that works plz let me know the details. If not thanks for your time.
EDIT: Upon further investigation, this actually IS on usenet, just unreported on newzbin. The release is SCRUBBED though so I don't know how it would work.

i got the iso and i keep getting the "error 001" message...i have a JAP wii console with wiikey so i dont understand why it wont work can anyone explain it to me please...
i burn the game with imgburn at 4x and also 2x speed and still get the error
could it be that i need to update the firmware on the wiikey to the latest update? i have already got 1.9b do i need 1.9s to make it work if thats the solution??? and i dont have the latest 3.XJ system update either

Yes you will have to update your firmware to 1.9g or 1.9s

Don't know if it had the update as I used wiibrickblocker on my image and yes it worked on my d2pro chip.

if you are looking for the torrent try getting it from eiter mininova.org or isohunt.com i burnt on imgburn 8x and 16x, doesnt require update (im on 3.2U) i have wiikey 1.9s hope this helps.

i wasnt looking for the torrent of it. because i already half the original copy and i backup a copy of it. just wanted to be safe, since i havent heard anything about it the forums section.
