Please enter your media that you use or have used and score them out of 5 with the writer you use. That way we can get an idea of what media works best with what writer. I will do a chart to replace the one at http://www.chrismccann.co.uk/dvdr_compatibility.htm

I am currently using a Pioneer 106D v1.07.
I have used:
Ritek Branded @ 4x = 5/5, every blank has been spot on!

Not many people seem to have seen the Ritek Branded ones and get confused when i mention them, so just for the Record the Top of the DVD is purple and says "Ritek" - it doesnt say datasafe or arita, or ridata ity says "ritek" - i think these are probably the most expensive in the range??

Jetway P4XFA - Pheonix Award Bios v6.00pg

Asus DVD-E616p 0104 E1.04

With Sony DRU-500A firmware 2.0g

DVD+R:

Packard-Bell 2.4x 5/5
TDK 2.4x 5/5
HP 2.4x 5/5
HP 4x 4/5 (couple of disks burnt at 2.4x instead of 4x, but the discs are working just fine)

DVD-R:

Maxell 2x 4/5 (2 coasters out of 30)
Maxell 4x 5/5
TDK 2x 5/5
Samsung 2x 5/5
That's Write 4x 0/5 (every burn stopped at around 60%)
