Mkv2vob file size problem

I'm trying to convert a 43gb x264 mkv movie file for use on my ps3 but when remuxing is complete the finished vob file is only 457mb and all broken up when when tryin to play.

Can anyone advice on a solution??

The original file mkv is 4.3gb not 43.

Can you play the mkv in media player classic? Check that its not the original file.

If it's okay then make sure your configuration is set that there is no file splitting.

The original file wont play in media player classic but plays fine in VLC player.

Is it the file then?

I canot be certain sitting on this side of the keyboard obviously but I would think that may be the issue. Try a muxing different mkv file and see if it works. If so then I would say it is the file.

I hope you can figure it out. I know how frustrating it can be.
