It would seem that LG have disconinued the 816xB drive range, and so I was wondering if anyone knew where one could get their hands on a drive that will rip Wii games in the UK? Is it still just the 816x series that can read the disks, or has another manufacturer followed suit?

You could try eBay where alot of these overpriced drives now change hands.

Alternatively, you could use the wii itself to read the disk and dump its contents onto a SD card via a Gecko adapter.

Search the forum for Gecko and there are posts on how to backup your discs.
