i ll start with a story, when i got my 360 in febuary, i went to a friends house to get on xbox live, i dont have high speed, so i did all the signing up used a certain nick i ll say the nick is xxx, i got on to get the divx codec. i didnt have any gamer points cuz i didnt beat any games. i used a differnt nick i ll say its ooo not knowing about live and that other nick xxx i have like almost 3000 pts but i couldnt use them cuz i used the nick ooo. can i somehow switch the points to the other nick xxx?

as far as i know, you still cannot take gamer points from one nick and apply them to a different one.

Aren't gamer points used to buy downloads? like i want to get oblivion side quests and xtras

lol sorry dude, thought u meant gamer score. Call MS and see if they will do it for you, your only shot.

microsoft points are used to buy things, but gamer points/achievements points/ gamer score arent, they are just for bragging rights.

There has to be a supervisor at MS who could switch your gamer points, as long as the two names are registered to the same person.

so the gamer points that i collect from beating levels and other stuff during games arent for buying xtra quests on oblivion and other games? i was on live the other day at a friends house and i was looking at the stuff you can download for oblivion i swear it said the xtras like different quests and armor it had (gp)= gamer points to download

the points you get for beating levels and other stuff during games are just for bragging rights. not sure if they are used in oblivion to download extra crap, as i hate fantasy role playing games and dont play this game, but i know they arent used in any other games to download extra stuff. the only way you can download extra stuff in games like call of duty 4 is to BUY microsoft points and spend them. they are basically virtual reality cash.
